ER Officer (QFAB) Job

•Provide a wide range of employee relations services on a timely and accurate manner, and in alignment with the approved policies and procedures, for all company employees. As well as, ensure that all the employees’ related entries in the system in terms of employees’ information, allowances and benefits are timely and accurate.     



•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or any other related filed.

•4-6 years of related experience of which a minimum of 2 years should be in a similar position / responsibility. 
•Previous experience in Oil & Gas industry and regional experience is preferred.

1.Knowledge of HR-ERP systems, preferably SAP.
2.Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
3.Knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and regulations. 
4.Experience of generating Payroll reports. 




Key Accountabilities:


Employee Relations: 
1.   Supervise all entries related to employees’ information into the system and ensure maintaining employees’ data up to date.
2.   Ensure processing all changes related to employees’ status and remuneration on a timely manner.
3.   Ensure processing all requests raised related to employee relations services for all employees on time, and as per the applicable policies and procedures.
4.  Ensure maintaining and updating employees’ files while ensuring their confidentiality.
5.  Respond to employees enquires related to employee relations policies and procedures.
6.  Prepare and type memos and letters related to employee relations as needed.
7.  Assist in communicating and circulating new/updated policies, procedures and regulations to all employees.
8.  Ensure providing the required support related to new employees’ mobilization.
9.  Verify employees’ claims, allowance and benefits in line with the applicable policies and procedures. 
10.  Maintain updated Organization Structure and Headcounts in system.
11.  Ensure that all employees and their eligible dependents are provided with the medical assistance, as per the applicable medical reimbursement policy.
12.  Coordinate with IT to ensure maximum utilization of the ERP and other HR related systems.
13.  Administer all types of employees’ benefits and payments (e.g.) End of service benefit, National leave bonus, education assistance…etc.
14.  Liaise with the payroll team to ensure all employees payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
15.  Prepare periodic reports related to Employee Relations service desk requests for management.

People Management: 
16.    Manage section staff by overseeing their performance management, recruitment, training and development to ensure high levels of engagement and competence.

Quality, Health, Safety, Environment & Security (SHEQS): 
17.    Adhere to all relevant SHEQS policies, procedures, instructions and controls so that the Company provides a safe, world class, secure and environmentally responsible service to customers, the public and its own people. 


Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures: 
18.    Assist in developing the Employee Relations policies, procedures, and guidelines.
19.    Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and provide instructions to subordinates to ensure their proper implementation.
20.    Coordinate the implementation of new policies configuration in the system.


21.    Carry out any other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor.
