Job Summary and Purpose

Responsible for Scheduling, Progress monitoring and preparing progress report in line with contractual requirements and various internal Project Control Reports to support project operations, ensuring planning procedures are met.

Accountabilities

1.    Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
2.    Responsible to understand the Project scope in its fullest sense and capture all contractual qualifications to be considered while preparing the schedules.
3.    Responsible for preparing Project Schedules using Primavera and Microsoft Project (Latest Versions).
4.    Responsible for preparing Project Monitoring System (PMS).
5.    Responsible for all resource planning related to Project.
6.    Responsible for forecasting Project health at regular intervals for the Project Manager / Snr Mngt to take necessary steps as deemed necessary.
7.    Responsible for identifying all tasks in a Project which are required to be monitored in detail and to develop detailed monitoring systems to capture the correct progress of the Project.
8.    Assist Commercial Estimation by providing Project schedules/any other docs/data etc as per the requirements during the tendering stage of the Projects. 
9.    Responsible for liaising with Client regarding all Planning related matters regularly or as per the Project requirements.
10.    Responsible for Production resource planning (Manpower) and forecasting resource requirements to Hiring Department after a careful analysis of the requirements and possible optimization within the Sections.
11.    Liaises with Hiring Departments & Sections for mobilization/Demobilization of the hired resources. 
12.    Develop, maintain, and issue daily, weekly, and monthly and other regular reports for all key functions within the Departments as required.
13.    Guide/train and Share planning knowledge to other Planners/stake holders.
14.    Develop /maintain historical data related to all key functions of the Department.
15.    Performs other related duties or assignments as directed to contribute to the continuous operations of the department.

Qualifications, Experience and Job Skills

Qualifications:
•    Primavera  P6.
•    Degree / Diploma or higher in any discipline (preferably engineering/science)
Experience:

•    Lead role Planning experience in Ship repair, Conversion, offshore & NB/ Offshore/ Oil & Gas Industry.
•    8  years relevant working experience
