Job Summary and Purpose
Accountable for the execution of the set Marine business development strategy as aligned to the Business Plan and Revenue forecast. To develop new Business lines, improve and expand existing Business lines and provide a communication channel between the market and the organization to develop and implement growth opportunities by building upon the brand that is established through marketing efforts to connect the audience to products and services.
To execute and provide senior guidance to a team of experts to ensure effective and consistent corporate marketing in line with the company’s business and growth objectives. Focused on identifying key business differentiators, developing Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions market message and establishing a positioning within the market(s). Position products and services with clients in the right way. This job is principally concerned with activities designed to expand the organization's reach in the current or a new market, and is therefore tasked with researching, prospecting, and qualifying leads and to support in developing and closing them to convert to sales via the operations team. Also concerned with the analytical preparation of potential growth opportunities & support and monitoring of its implementation
Accountabilities
Key Accountabilities:
1. Promoting positive client relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all clients and continually instilling this philosophy in the project team.
2. Enhance Client relationships through continuous engagement, follow-up and provide timely updates.
3. Analyze the data to produce sales management information such as reasons for wins/losses, progress of opportunities in relation to the sales process, top performing salespeople/sales channels and sales of services/products.
4. Communicating effectively with the team members as well as keeping them active in decision-making.
5. Maintain awareness of the Clients’ needs and project parameters.
6. Preparing and making presentations to clients as requested for projects in progress.
7. Working with the Commercial and Marketing teams to secure the project.
8. Develop Business avenues through discussion with Clients internally with team members and peers in the organization.
9. Prompt reporting on the developments related to the project at Client places.
10. Keep a vigilant track of activities at competitor’s end.
11. Identify resources which shall be beneficial for the Business.
12. Performs any other duties & responsibilities assigned by the Section Manager.
13. Attend and represent Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions at various national and international exhibition and conference
14. Follow up and visit Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions agent and reps in other territories to capture the opportunities.
15. Given the jobs exposure, approach all issues with a sense of considered, calm and Non-impulsive reasoning.
16. Conduct Independent Market Study
17. Presentation of proposals and Market reports. Produces timely marketing reports on the company, competitors, industry trends, etc.
18. Coordinates with Nakilat & implements strategic Public Relation programs to achieve increase in brand awareness and provides analysis based on the results, written company collaterals (in print and online) corporate image and logos both for internal and external customers.
19. Responsible for generating and following up on new / potential business leads.
20. Liaises on with international shipyard agents to improve market standing and brand awareness.
21. Identifies learning and development of managing Marketing Executives and Administration Assistances and provides appropriate learning intervention.
22. Identifies media trends and opportunities for the company.
23. Manages budgets and campaign Return on Investment.
24. Responds to information queries from media and the General Public, including maintenance of effective working relationship with local and international media representatives.
25. Responsible for generating and following up on new / potential business leads.
26. Performs other duties assigned.

Qualifications, Experience and Job Skills
Qualifications:
• A Degree in Engineering, or Marketing / Corporate Communications or relevant working experience.
Experience:
• At least 10 continuous years of relevant working experience
